Dr. Marshall D. Peikoff (Retired)
DMD, MSc, FRCD(C), Diplomate ABE, FICD, FACD
Dr. Peikoff retired from practice in 2017. He was the founder of our practice.
He graduated with honors from the University of Manitoba faculty of Dentistry in 1963. He then spent four years in general practice before doing his Endodontic training at Boston University, receiving his certificate in Endodontics as well as Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
He has practiced Endodontics in Winnipeg from 1969 until the present time.
He is an Assistant Professor and was Head of the Section of Endodontics at the Faculty from 1972 till 1989, after which he assumed a part time position.
He has lectured extensively in North America as well as Europe and Australia.
Dr. Peikoff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He subsequently became a Director of the American Board of Endodontics and also served as its president.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists.
He served as a Council Member and chief examiner in Endodontics with the Royal College of Dentists (Canada) He has acted as chief examiner for the National Dental Examining Board of Canada as well as external examiner for the College of Dentists of British Columbia.
He has been a Trustee and President of the Foundation of the American Association of Endodontists.
He has served as President of the Canadian Academy of Endodontics and President of the Manitoba Dental Association.
He was recipient of Alumnus of Distinction Award both at the University of Manitoba and Boston University.
